α-ChloraloseIntroduction and Application China Factory Supply CAS 15879-93-3 Alpha Chloralose α-Chloralose for Pest control
Chloroaldose (common name: chlorolose, trade name: Alphabid, other names: glucochloralose, rodenticide, metronidazole, trichloroacetaldehyde glucose) is a bird repellent and rodenticide. The mechanism and characteristics of action of anesthetics make birds easily killed by other methods. Rodenticide works by delaying metabolism and lowering body temperature to the lethal limit. Alpha Chloralose can be rapidly metabolized and therefore will not accumulate.
Alpha Chloralose used as a rodenticide (especially for mice), the effective ingredient content in the poison bait is 4%. Alpha Chloralose has poor efficacy against larger rodents, so it is not recommended for use in killing rats. Alpha Chloralose is also used as a repellent and anesthetic for birds. α-Chloralose Pictures
